«ALL YOU NEED [TO COMPARE] IS LOVE» REVISITED

Abstract

This paper follows up on an article the author published in 2016 entitled "All you need [to compare] is love" in the proceedings of an international conference organized in Bologna, on the long-term legal consequences of the economic-financial crisis of some years ago. Reasoning on the extraordinary circumstances the world is facing, with their contrasts between manifestations of great intergenerational solidarity on the one hand, and some reactions of selfishness, racism and marginalization, on the other, the author reflects on the use of the "4 C method" in current circumstances. Today as yesterday, people find each other in a historic moment of “crisis”, and they wonder if from this situation of difficulty and instability, of uncertain term and solution, the dawn of a new world or a re-edition of that old will emerge
